    Most smakler LCD tv's are also 12 volt dc, so you probably dont even need shore power. Most that plug into 120 is just a dc converter. Learned that when I upgraded my tv in our motorhome.

    I have had good sucess with finding reworked props for far less than new cost. If your homegrown fix is not done correctly, with a precise balance you might be asking for trouble, expensive trouble. To save an old worn out orip might very well cost you a motor....is that worth it ??

    If you have a prop shop near, they often have used or reworked props for sale. Ebay also has a limited selection of used props. A prop shop could rebuild your current prop
