Why I'm nervous boating at night...

Some friends once had their car shipped from France and they lost that container over the side. It took almost 2 years for the insurance claim to come through.

    Commonality with Auto Works

I’m way behind on the new stuff. My work truck is a 2000 F150 and my fun truck is a 1990 4 runner which I drive 2 or 3 times a year. The wife and daughter both have a Lexus amazing cars by the way especially the 08 it just keeps going. My son has 2019 Jeep and so far so good but I’m just...

    Commonality with Auto Works

I watched a car the other night pull into a parking and it seems they tried every switch in the car to get the lights on before driving off into the dark with only the day time running light on. I rented a truck a few years back and was completely lost trying to figure out where everything was.

Hard to say what else got torched. If it were me and i was boring and replacing pistons i would go all the way and be done with it.

Does anyone remember when car & boat engines only had.

All my Echo stuff is from the mid 80’s and still going strong. People laugh at my older stuff but are surprised when they see how well it runs.

    Math problem

How much run time has it had since the fogging oil? It really needs to warm up to burn that stuff off. Take it for spin and you will likely be fine. Jmo

I was over due for this to happen.

I usually just pour it into a shallow pan a little at a time and let it evaporate on its own. When I was kid we lived on a dirt road and I remember my grand farther dumping used oil in the road to keep the dust down. His theory was that’s where it came from in the first place. 😂 Of course this...

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

I miss the seeing the pelicans from when i lived in Fl. I would only see the white ones in the winter months though. I picked up a friend once from the airport he flew in from NJ and had never a pelican. We were driving over the bridge and one was flying next to us and my buddy freaked out. He...

    cooking

I restored a bunch of cast iron pans for a buddy of mine last year using electrolysis. They came out beautiful. He picked them up for a song at a flea market. A couple of them were cheap knockoffs and you could really tell the difference in the casting. The cheap ones seem to have been made with...

    cooking

I’m still thinking about the Pineapple upside down cake😂. My grandmother used to make them all the time then my mother took over but it’s been close to 40 years now since I had a taste. Maybe it’s time to for me to get baking.

You could disconnect the cable and see if everything is moving as freely as it should. Could be some dried up lube causing it to hang up and not return.

    Towed some Folk

That makes you a true friend in my book. I know guys that call each other friends but some of them wouldn’t have gone out of their way to help you out. Those are the guys that drive me nuts sometimes. They will only help out if there is something in it for them. I’m sure it will bite them in...

I agree. For some reason I had 35hp in my mind and I’m generally an over kill kinda guy anyway.
