    What are you hunting? A carb kit? The first thing you do is check compression. Then spark. Then fuel. If you have all that then see if its pissing water. Thats how I proceed.

    #1 I have a copy #2 google it #3 Plenty of you tube videos #4 dont know because I dont buy a SSI motor with no spark or compression. The first 2 things I check #5 #6 I owned both. You wouldnt know the difference really. The 9.9 Force was a decent motor But Im a really big fan of the Eska

    You should see a mist of water coming out the exhaust ports on the back of the leg. If not it needs an impellor

    Check for spark, get a carb kit maybe they are cheap, add in-line fuel filter between tank and carb. If it fires up your golden. I dont see where it says its a solid state ignition so Id check points if no spark. 40:1 mix on fuel. Check spark plug etc.

    50 aint good. Check head gasket. Thats the first thing I check before I buy a motor is compression.

    its a 1979. And all the carb kits are the same. The pink fuel pump element on the face of the carb that faces the power head has to be re-installed at 2 oclock. Look at the old one before you remove it.
