    In the late 70s Mercury made some changes to the Prop Hubs and different Thrust Washers were required. Fast Forward 40+ Years, and throw in a few more Brands of Props and it can get complicated/confusing very quickly

    How was the engine Winterized? There might be some Gum and Varnish gumming up some of the Carb Passages and Air Bleeds. Happens when Fuel sits a long time without being Stabilized.
