    When you syphon out the contents and shake it in jerry can and pour it back in fuel tank add properly mixed fuel/oil (50:1) to fuel tank you should be ok

    Always always always mix the fuel & oil in jug first before adding to the fuel-tank! Make a new batch & flush this through the carbs run the engine to clean it out

    IF..........there's no need to remove the stud, then no (why bother) Just be careful not to damage the stud!!

    IF........the mechanism is not too worn-out???????(controls box) then I would replace all the wiring in it front to back all the way to the engine.(you'll probably have to re-wire/replace wire on the engine side also)

    Just to be clear the power will be 12 volts regardless of how the ignition set up is. Stator v.s. battery power However the ignition power will not be the same (as racerone already pointed out)

    Racerone brought a very solid point to the attention! I apologies for the oversight! Yes for sure a '65 will need battery power to run however the control-box/cables can be used with the right modification to the hook up of the wires.

    A lot of heat (NOT to the point where the aluminum starts to melt/flake/disincarnate but close to it) & an air-hammer with the right bit. You need a helper to heat or handle the hammer and pray to God the aluminum does not crack!! Watch out for the S/S bolt/rod does not form a mushroom on top...

    Any that similar shaped painted black with blue or red decal up to very late 70's any before the 2000 Commander Keep in mind; that if original, the wiring will be in terrible shape

    HERE'S A POST WRITTEN BY THE LATE FRANK A. follow this to the T do not skip any steps!!! It is possible that although the triggers look the same you have one that is incorrect. If TDC occurs at the TDC mark and you can set the 28* WOT STATIC TIMING (plugs removed and wires shorted to ground)...

    Have you ready the Sticky notes at the top of the force/chrysler forum & did you go through the test procedure(s) ? Yes, inspect the reeds also

    As @Chris1956 set regarding the hoses, install hose; it is part of your re-circulation system as far as the spark-issue; Verify why no spark, here's a link to diagnose the ignition components & to pin point the failure to spark (my bet it is in the wiring)...
