    Oh I see what you did there (y) I think the 3/4" pin mounts are perfect for casting seats with the 11" post and up front I used the offset post. The nice thing about those bases are they're flat and you could move the seats when/where they're needed. Also in all reality they could be used...

    It's the McNasty stuff I got a few years ago and stored but the 15 min formula, I couldn't find any of the 5 min which melts paint like a flamethrower.

    Can you add a spin on filter / water separator and not use the canister one and just leave it out? Also the fuel you added to the tank, did it have ethanol in it? That's the only thing I can think of that would dissolve that filter.

    Maybe the flotation foam will give a little over time but the pressure is spread out well. I put foam under my tank too but I added 2 cross supports of angle AL riveted in as SC originally used a 2x4 sitting in the center on the ribs that rotted out. I guess at least he won't have to worry...
