    You could watch the spark with a scope. Scanner you could watch pids… but for something like that, it’s a pretty safe bet to toss a coil on it

    Yup. It’s a waste spark system so it sparks every time. With limited tools I’d put a coil on it. If you had a scanner or a scope. You could watch it.
