    Flat or not.----Moving it back and forth will break up the corrosion that has it JAMMED up tight.

    Oil type does not matter.-----Some fuel goes right through the engine !

    Could be the oil that is mixed with the gasoline.------Some fuel mixture goes right through the motor.----It does not get compressed .----It is not burned.----It is wasted and ends up going out with exhaust.

    Visit a marine store.-----Ask about cleaners for outdrives.------As water evaporates from the exhaust housing the minerals stay behind and build up.-----

    Nope---I believe you refer to a " preload pin " on the shaft.----Has to do with thrust loads on pinion bearing.

    Perhaps you need to talk to a prop expert.-----If the motor is in " perfect condition " you have the wrong prop to fit the boat.
