    start at the tank when cleaning the fuel system. tank, pickup, anti-siphon, then fuel/water filter, then FSM, then injectors.

    rule of thumb with setback. for every 4" back, raise the motor up 1" so with the 4" of setback on the transom jack, I would have the AV plate 1" higher than normal as a starting point. you will blow out prior to running out of water.

    agreed. it will be in the pickup strainer and bottom of the pan as well as embedded in the oil pump. hopefully the oil filter did its job and didnt bypass.
