    Flush kit install

Yes that would be it. There will only be one supply hose coming up. Would think only complication could be if u have a cool fuel set up in line

    Flush kit install

Then yes hose up from drive to water pump is where you put the at fitting. Would get a kit made of metal. My buddy had one of the plastic ones on his 7.4 / bravo 3 it cracked under way, luckily close to marina as it was filling the bilge with water… so he was taking on water , engine was...

Hello all, I want to install a remote oil filter mount for my 4.3 V6, is it neccessary to replace the filter mount bypass valve?

Ok so out a V8 in and the problem is solved… i think what u outline in lost above makes sense for the amount of these that MM sells and installs it is likely what they suggest works…

    Pertronix question.

Yeah by carb shop i meant autoline. So bottom line they dont know what parts they are putting in their rebuilds …which is the knock on big carb rebuilders

    Pertronix question.

Agree with bondo put them in and see how it goes. if these re too rich and you cant get parts you can drill out the 70's to 72. of course you gotta be careful as they dont get smaller once you drill them out... Strange the carb shop didnt know or control what was in there 67 vs 70's ... Was...

    Pertronix question.

Would just verify the float level is correct while you have it open This is a decent primer on 2 jets of course covers a lot of carbs over a lot of years GM made them. https://www.carburetor-parts.com/assets/manuals/rochester-2gc-manual.pdf I wouldn't bother with the 68 jets, normal rule of...

    Pertronix question.

If you are confident in your float level and fuel delivery i would look at going up from the 67 jets to a 69 or 71 Based off that last plug reading. Jets are cheap so if you are buying them i would get both sizes to have.

    Pertronix question.

Mikes carb parts and Pontiac Tripower sells jets and small parts for 2 jets. There are others but have had goo luck with either for 2 jet parts

    Pertronix question.

The screws only adjust idle mixture. running on main jets is a function of jet orifice size at wot power valve will richen it more . Do you know what they put in it and how that compares to what was factory for the 302? not saying this is what happened with your carb but at times when carbs go...

    Can I replace my 1994 Mercruiser 5.0 2BBL (305) with a 1998 5.7 2BBL (350) ?

Manifold, carb, and throttle bracket are needed. have you seen the new engine run , easy to run on the ground. Would do a compression check on it before paying

    Valve seal replacement on 4.3

do a leak down test if you can. Have had older engines that had good compression but also had a lot of blow by ... doesn't tell the full story if you are diagnosing. Either way of you get air leaking out valves into exhaust need to pull the head

    Pertronix question.

Yes the copper would start the advance earlier in the rpm range. Also need to check total advance but I assume that is limited the same regardless of what spring is used to change how fast it comes in. You can try it but also pay attention to total advance to make sure it does exceed the...

Volvo Penta 3.0GS engine missing mid throttle

Looking at your plugs and filthy flame arrestor, clean the flame arrestor and try new plugs in it. Had a similar situation on my jet ski a few years back. Flame arrestor was plugged, ran fine on trailer , no power under load. Cleaned the flame arrestor, put new plugs in and ran fine. Was enough...

    Can I replace my 1994 Mercruiser 5.0 2BBL (305) with a 1998 5.7 2BBL (350) ?

Absolutely worth doing the upgrade. Thats too much boat for a 5.0. it should be drop in as stated you may need to go up in pitch if it was previously propped to the upper end of wot rpm. I did a 4.3 to 5.0 swap kept same drive ratio went up in pitch 2” . given vintage differences between your...

4.3 vortec engine ( water in oil )

Some of the worst cars GM made especially the cheap interiors. My brother had a 80 malibu/229 V6... Still doesnt explain why 30 years (090M block is late 90's early 2k's) later they can't make up their mind with a jackalope metric/sae block.
