    I can't log in

Well it certainly is interesting. As can be seen in this screenshot, I'm logged in under BWRTEMP, my "new" screen name. And yet the system is showing my posts, etc. under the regular one. I hope it all gets straightened out okay. I'm getting the shakes over here!

    I can't log in

This is BWR1953 The new site isn't letting me in. I saw the notice to request new password. Did that. No email was in my Inbox of record. (No, not in the Spam folder either.) Tried creating a new account with that same email address and got an error that said that the email I was trying to...

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Talked to the doc this afternoon and she put me back on Prednisone. I expected that. But at least it's a lower dosage. I'll be starting low and working up if necessary. Her initial recommendation was for me to start high then taper down quickly. But that drug has destroyed me :attention: a...

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Temps are supposed to be warmer this week. I hope I'll be feeling better. Will definitely be calling the doc tomorrow.

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Guys, I'm bummed. :grumpy: The weather warmed up today so the boy and I went out to do a little more hull stripping. With very poor results. The air temp was about 70 degrees and we moved the boat out to the south side of the garage to have the sunshine warm it up. We did the same with the...

    Disappearing restorations.

Wow, I counted over 100 not-finished projects in that list. Whew! Yes, I actually counted. I had plenty of time in the doctor's waiting room this morning. I'm trying to get mine on the completed side of things! Which brings me onto topic. I'd suspect that a fair number...

    1989 Bass Tracker TX-17

I bought a brand new 1985 Bass Tracker Tournament TX-17 with a Mercury 50HP outboard with power tilt and trim. Very similar setup to yours. And my top speed was 32MPH with just me and gear. It was 28MPH with me and my lightweight family. But with me and my 250 lb. cousin I couldn't even get...

    Finally got my hotrod

Hahaha! Yeahhh... :) The Genesis was cold this morning. Had our first frost of the season!

I used the Old Timers Formula on my Kingfisher transom and I'm planning to also paint it for aesthetics upon final installation.

    Finally got my hotrod

Here's the background on why I bought the car. My beloved F-150 nearly left me stranded 60 miles from home last week. Had it not been for the help of a kindly gentleman, I would have had to get the truck towed back home. But the guy was able to help me get it running and I drove it straight...

    Finally got my hotrod

It's a stealth hotrod! 429HP and 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Top speed limited by onboard computer to 150MPH. :heh: Luxurious and comfy too! It's home now.

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Today's progress. We're all finished for today. After we strip, we pressure wash. Then the boy squeegees the boat and towels it dry so that the next step can be taken quickly. Stripping so far:

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Oh sure, now ya tell me! The details you provided make sense. Lots of good, helpful information. Thanks! And based on that info, I can't help but wonder if the ideal way to apply the stripper would be to spray it on. Ya know? So after my earlier post, we tried a couple different...

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Didn't do any boat work on turkey day or Black Friday but got back at it today. Taking a lunch break now. :hungry: I'm disappointed with the results thus far. We marked a small area to strip, then applied a thick coat of Jasco using brushes. Next, we covered the stripper with plastic sheet...
