    Checked out the Chassahowitzka River today for another iboats member. Shallow!! :eek: Will definitely not return there until after Phase 2 is completed on the Kingfisher and the 50HP Mercury with a jack plate is installed. Gotta be able to run much shallower and on plane! Can't do that now...

    We caught a bunch of undersized Mangrove Snapper, but no keepers. Spotted a trio of Manatees! Knee deep on an Egret... the water is that shallow all the way across the river from this point on.

    Post-painting pix. I just need to reconnect the battery to the trolling motor and depth finder, then re-strap down the battery box and fuel tank and the Kingfisher will be ready to fish. But I know the rules around here... pix come first! :D
