    Sea King Fuel Connector

you would be able to tell by looking, and if not you could swap it to one with a screw driver. 1962 would be one of the Gale manufactured outboards, which was just an upscaled OMC motor

1971 Johnson 25hp convert to electric start?

If you only care about it spinning over, then the bracket and starter will get you going. You will need a battery, a starter relay of some sort and a push button.

    How many boats is enough?

I have 5 boats, but I only use one of them. One is under construction, one needs work but I really don't 'need' that boat, The boat I use ( holiday 14 ) is light and easy to tow/ launch and runs on a sip of gas. The other 2 are car-top boats, one of them being an inflatable

    Bilge Pump Wiring Question

A 1994 could have a mercury switch and it might be bad especially if the bilge was flooded. You can replace it with a float switch and it's wired the same. There are diagrams on Google images should you need one... You don't want to mess with fuses if your boat is taking on water, I would call...

Longshot help for friend, '98 EFI fuel check valve?

It's a part that goes bad on the trucks as well.. It allows the line to drain back to the tank. The solution is to cycle the key twice and hit the starter after the second prime... OR just accept the long crank and it'll start.. I had a truck with the valve that was bad. I just cranked it

How fast is 85 force outboard

Weigh your boat. It should be rated for an 85hp but I bet it's water logged. They put 50s on the 17ft stock, it should plane with 3 people. if compression is good it should be at least 75hp.

All you have to do is remove the passenger console, slide the driver side console to the center, and then use the side cap from the passenger console on the driver console and you will have basically what Starcraft did on the Mariners which was the center console variation of that same hull

    Trailer Tires

Radial Trail HD and USA Trail are quality products. The Sport Trail that everyone seems to market and comes OEM on some stuff is crap, and in the market's eyes, that makes Carlisle crap. A lot of the USA trail stuff is actually made in USA, just not all of it, but the USA trail are bias ply...

    Trailer Tires

You will pay MORE for a tire/ wheel combo than if you buy a decent tire from a tire shop, and mount it on a new rim.. A Carlisle Sport trail is not a decent tire, and that is generally what is offered in combo's as Carlisle offers them directly.. Buy one for a spare and a bracket, but not a...

    Trailer Tires

Kenda gets a lot of OEM market because they are dirt cheap, not because they are good... Your going to add ~$80-100 for a set of Endurances at most over a pair of good radial tires. If you told us you were going to trailer it a great distance regularly, I'd tell you to get either a Carlisle...

    Trailer Tires

No, it means bias ply . D stands for Diagonal bias. R would be Radial.. That only applies when the D is where an R would normally be.. A tire marked " Load Range D " would be load range D weather it was bias or radial Get the load range that matches what you have or greater.. Most do not...

    Trailer Tires

Just go to your local tire shop and get whatever they have. Likely they are going to dry rot and expire before they will be worn out.. Get a radial however, not a bias ply.. It will be an R15 and not a D15
