    If it’s an mpi (as it suggests in description) it’s more powerful than the 5.7. Unless I’ve missed it saying it’s not an mpi. Says 260hpk fair play Scott just looked at the pics. Defo a carb 5.0. I was wondering why an mpi would be cheaper than a carb version. This explains it.

    It says it’s a mpi 260 5.0 in description under propulsion. Be more powerful than the 5.7 carb in other one and worth a hell of a lot more money too.

    Ah. Didn’t know that. They always said to use Volvo oil like that…but at least had the sense to suggest alternatives on the grade scale. Mercury didn’t and made their own weight and grade up.     Sounds like you have an issue or restrictions around the primary water separating filter, if you mean you bypassed that and straight to the secondary engine filters with the pump ? Or worst case, your fuel pump is gone.

    Hi. I don’t know for certain. But almost sure that they may use the same turbo. Main difference between the two engines you mention, are that the later kad32 engine has a supercharger to help low down power and produces more peak power early on.
