    Raw water flow

About this much this is an MC1, this guy has a lot of water pressure to the muffs so if you are on a well may be a bit less

    5.7 LX starter

If you have a newer permanant magnet starter and didn’t use the correct bolts for starter it may not be tight, old bolts will bottom out but starter wont be tight. Hopefully new bolts came with starter ?

Help with vibration from 1400-3500 RPM

You have no points , but cap and rotor if not changed may have corrosion. I would do a cylinder drop test, pull plug wires off one at a time and see if idle quality changes. verify timing. Would suspect ignition item got corroded over winter maybe a plugwire is dis connected also being a 95 may...

    How to drain tilt-trim system

You can take it apart to flush, another option is to suck the oil out of reservoir with Turkey baster, refill with fresh fluid. Work drive in and out 5-6 times. Suck reservoir dry again and refill, repeat until it is clean. I did this 3 times and oil was completely flushed out without opening...

    Bell Housing - Merc 250 vs 292

Not 100% sure on this but I think you need a 153 tooth 12.75" Diameter flywheel like this https://www.summitracing.com/parts/MCL-450300 in that listing gives stock GM part number it replaces. I assume the 252 flywheel was smaller as I thought GM didn't use bigger wheels until later? Somewhere...

Mercruiser 4.3…Milky oil coming from timing cover.

Block off the water inlet hose from the drive (pipe fittings with an compressed air connection) and water dump into exhaust manifolds/elbows. Pressurize with 15 psi should hold air indefinitely. Do this before you start tearing into it. Depending on exactly what serial number and cooling...

    Mercruiser 3.0 No Spark issues

Take your plugs out an look for signs of detonation. Probably unless you just hammered it while pinging it will be fine. You can google reading spark plugs and find lots of pictures.

Mercruiser 4.3…Milky oil coming from timing cover.

Pressure test the cooling system, If water was getting into timing cover it would end up with milk in the sump as well....

Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI Identification tag

Agreed looks like someone used an alpha engine in a bravo application. When i was looking at repowering years back, was looking at a bravo engine for my alpha application, dealer said he could reflash the ecu to a alpha so i could have shift interrupt… that made me feel uneasy, but just points...

    Difference between Bravo 3 2.20R vs 2.20 vs 2.21

Common issue on bravo 3 especially the earlier ones. Make sure your mercathode is working, you have the proper annodes. If slip kept stray current from other boats can be an issue as well. friend of mine added a second mercathode with two pucks on the transom after corrosion ate his lower housing

    Mercruiser 3.0 No Spark issues

Check the timing with a timing light. Yes sound like detonation. could also be from being lean but start with verifying timing at idle in base mode is correct, and at full advance

3.0 2bbl carb adjustment after rebuild

The 3.0 is not a really smooth engine always vibrates some at idle if you are idling 750-775 is probably fine adjust down as needed when you are in gear on the water.

    Difference between Bravo 3 2.20R vs 2.20 vs 2.21

So the real question is -if you swapped from a 2.20 to a 2.00 ratio drive would you be ok? No - you would need to drop down in prop pitch (assuming it was properly pitched) to stay at the same WOT rpm. If it was working ok I would keep your 2.20 upper and swap lowers.

3.0 2bbl carb adjustment after rebuild

Not sure what you mean by On spark plug wire? Would think the idle would stay steadier than 720-800 rpm but hard to tell from my keyboard

3.0 mercruiser ran for 5 min good. Then Just died?

Yes this would be indicative that needle and seat are hanging up. If you rebuilt the carb with a cheap kit may be worth getting a quality kit.
