    Towing with/without Overdrive

Its not how much, it's where the torque is generated.

    Towing with/without Overdrive

I have no problems and no complaints whatsoever pulling a #5,400 Walkaround or a #6,000 tandem axle horse trailer. Rated to #11,700 as configured Beats the $rap out of the Chevy V8 it replaced.

    Best technique for waterproof solders?

Rosin, Resin = Soldering Flux.........just a milder version. Rosin leaves a residue on the board (clearly visible in video) that can contaminate manufacturing equipment which is the main motivator to cleaning flux from circuit boards but.....rosin residues can also lead to failures in harsh...

    Best technique for waterproof solders?

Typical Goggle U "quality" instructions....lets seal the connection without cleaning the acid (flux) from the wires.......big no, no. Immediate failure of soldering test administered prior to hire.

    Dash hole cover up bezel?

I would go with carbon fiber. A lot easier to work with

    Strakes on Bunks?

It’s all about distributing the weight across the largest possible area to keep concentrated loads on the hull to a min I would not allow my boat to rest on strake. That’s just asking for problems

    Dash hole cover up bezel?

Wouldn’t use HPDE for a dash panel. The thermal expansion rate of the material is crazy

Perko switch question (1 engine 2 battery)

Tahoe deckboat fuel guage always on full when key is turned on

If your positive you have ground, then obviously you have an issue with the sender wire. Put a meter on the gauge and see if you get a resistance change at sender

    Towing with/without Overdrive

That would drive me nuts… see nothing above 1800 unless the engine brake kicks in.

No diaphragm. Simple, electronically actuated shuttle (needle) valve. Make sure valve opens and closes when actuated. Leaking (flooding) is a common failure mode. Replace orings Nothing to do with the primer

    Accessories not working

It’s quite possible you have a dead battery especially if you left the battery switch on the entire time. I would start by measuring the voltage on both batteries.

1966 40hp Big Twin to Suzuki DF25 on 14' SC holiday?

Not a fan and refuse to do things half reared with a “new” installation anymore. You’re spending the money, time and energy to repower. Get a cable of the right length that fits both the helm and motor.

Rebuilding trim cylinders on Johnson 110 hp (1988)

Don't know if this is the exact one you need, but there are number of links to different suppliers. Have you drain the system and refill? Could be stuff trapped in the control circuits.

    Bowing steel seawall

In reality, the ground is holding the load. How big is a function of load and soil compaction. Would probably get better strength by driving something (beam) in the ground and tying off to that
