    Honda BF50A carburetor diaphragm, confused!

    looking at the factory plugs in the carb, your carb came with the port closed off from the factory. if you ever tried to get a drive-plug out, good luck, you would destroy the carb trying to get the drive plug out. My guess, Honda realized the diaphragm is not needed.

    post the airhorn numbers. that will tell you everything, including which bowls are bolted to it. (Columns 19 and 20 of the holley link in post #14) Holley carburetors are like Mr Potato Head. with 100 parts, I can potentially make 5000 different carburetors.

    Welcome aboard You don't state what year, so we cant determine prop rating vs flywheel rating. However you motor would have 260hp if it is in perfect condition Is the question how much HP can you get from the SBC engine, or how much HP you can put thru the drive? Which drive? Which SBC?
