Yeah, no, not flipping it over.
It sat shutdown for 3 or 4 months. I bought new ones. The pics are the old ones I took out and won't be reusing.
The pics show how the fins are bent over more on one side of the circle than the side 180 degrees opposite.
I'm thinking for my future care to not...
Yeah, I try to start them up and run them until they get warm every few months. I just happened to have let them sit for three or four months.
But, then again, the fins being bent that bad means the impellers should have been replaced sooner. They were losing their flexibility.
I replaced my impellers on both my Suzuki and Yamaha today.
I haven't started either since about October.
I noticed the fins are more bent on one side. Im wondering if it would be a good idea to rotate the Impeller 180 degrees on Occasion.
That way you trade off which fins are compressed on...
I've been using this method:

I've always had really good results using Rust-Oleum Oil Base Enamel.
It holds up very well.

But I have never applied it during the cold wet season. I want to...
Oops, sorry, yes, it's a 18 foot 1967 Holiday.
Here's the stock window it originally had but I forgot to get a measurement before I got rid of it.
It was difficult to get out on the bow, so I bought one with a center door.
Does anyone have a measurement for how high the stock windshield is straight up perpendicular to the dash?
I recently bought one from a different style boat and it's looking like I'm going to be at 24 inches straight up from the dash at the middle.
I'm just curious.

I'm still tinkering with the electrical.
I've been keeping a lookout for a windshield with a swing door center section. My windshield made it difficult to get out to the bow. I picked this up today. This is it on another boat. By measuring things out, it looks like it's going to be a great...
I'll go back and see if I can find anything about this.
But I'm thinking I should be fine by just scuffing it with some light grit.
I'm going to go with the Rust-Oleum clean metal primer, and finally an oil based enamel.
.
I'll post back if I find the answer.
Is it okay to wait a week after etching primer on bare aluminum to then do the bare metal primer?
I'm trying to follow the steps posted in these forums, but I don't remember if there was a maximum time frame between etching primer until the second step of bare metal primer.

Thanks, yeah, I don't think I said it was picking up my line on sonar.
I'm guessing that zigzag image is either my 16oz Cannon Ball lead, or my 360 flasher. Most likely the 11 inch long 360 flasher.

I thought it was neat to see it and wanted to hear if others have seen theirs.

I found this older thread:

My old humminbird broke, and so I found this old cheap Garmin Striker 4 and gave it a run.
