    well if it has a new buzzer in it, you need to find out if it gets 12V+ to it with key on, and if the other end of the buzzer has a good ground to make noise

    some motors should beep with the kill switch disconnected and the key turned to start,but the motor should not start when you do that never heard of a Yamaha to beep when just turned to the on position. also no one but you knows what motor you have

    Good to hear it is running better, but I do not understand how the float setting would keep it from running at higher RPM. were they way off and not letting fuel into the carbs?

    some Yamahas do have a low speed and a high speed charge coil. I have no idea if yours has that or not. your service manual for that motor would have info on that

    I have never messed with a 4hp 4 stroke so not much help. but I do not think the TT should be that hot, and should not be having air or steam coming out leak down test might tell if head gasket is a problem

    if you replace the pump housing, cup, impeller and wear plate along with the gaskets and orings, and make sure the pipe sits in the bushings at pump and in powerhead, that is all you can do. unless the pipe has a hole in it. if you have air or steam coming out the TT, I would think head gasket...

    well I was totally wrong on this motor. what can I say, but sorry. but I would think that the oil tank should have a drain on it coming from the very bottom. water is heavier so that should come out 1st. as it drains the alarm should sound. once completely drained you pull the float assembly...

    drain the oil into a clean glass jar so you can see any condensate/moisture. if it is good oil you can put it back in after turning on the key and timing how long it takes for the pump to fill the tank back up. the alarm should sound when low and stop alarming when filled back up

    seafoam shock treatment should be 1 pint of seafoam to 1 gallon of gas. there are a lot better fuel treatments available to help clean fuel systems and 2 stroke motors and you still have not given a motor ID so we still have no idea what motor you have
