    Own two DI turbos......no need to "floor" either. Both produce max torque (470 lb-ft. and 310 lb-ft.) under 2,500 rpm. Neither vehicle runs any hotter than my NA vehicles although both are spec'ed to run heavier oils than their NA counter parts

    I think we're talking about 2 different oils. Pennzoil Premium Outboard Oil and Multi-Purpose is listed as a multi-purpose 2 cycle oil Pennzoil Marine Premium Plus is a Synthetic Blend specially designed for exceptional performance in marine applications.

    Ran QuickSilver Premium Plus for a number of years for the same reason. Have since found Pennzoil Premium Plus to perform just as well for under $20 a gallon.

    I’m too cheap for full synthetic and to hard on stuff to mix lite. I run 50:1 YamahaLube 2R racing oil in everything except the golf cart. The golf cart is designed to run 128:1. I mix 5 oz. to 4 gallons which ends up at 102:1 .

    Goggle Part #K71-320-00 Do yourself a favor and buy name brand only. Bought a box of "no-names" a couple of years ago that didn't last 2 seasons before they dry rotted and cracked. Have not had any issues with Dexter brand

    Rest assured, local authorities (MCPD) didn't tolerate underage driving when I used to hot wire dad’s VW to go field hooping 55+ years ago...lol Certainly not tolerated by Howard Counties Finest (HCPD) when the girls learned to drive around the property around 2012.

    Tongue length doesn't matter...the shorter the wheel base (between truck and trailer axles), the harder it is to control the trailer backing up. My 30' long boat trailer is a heck of a lot easier to back than Mrs. Dingbat's old 16' long horse trailer.

    The worst part is pulling the cable(s) through the structure with a connector on the end. Had a heck of a time pulling the cables through the hardtop uprights on mine. In hindsight, may have been easier to remove and reinstall the connector once the cable where pulled

    Suggest you read up on the “modules of elasticity”, “yield strength” and “Poisson's ratio” in particular. Didn’t do the math, but 25% deformation of aluminum under load doesn’t sound outlandish. Pretty easy to model with a program like SolidWorks or any of the other FEA programs on the market
