    look at the back side of the circuit breakers. that is where the amperage will be stamped on them. each boat builder is slightly different. there are no standards cheapest place for carling circuit breakers (ETA equivalent) is your local grainger store. they are about $3

    76cc heads can make power...... with domed pistons, etc. however with flat top pistons, you are in the 8:1 category for compression vs the 9.3-9.4 you get with the 64cc vortec heads. all chevy SBC heads are prone to cracking if you overheat them. get something better. just get a set of...

    cant find correct drive damper plate for my 190 DP

    The VP drive uses a 26 tooth 1-5/32 spline ,(like a GM truck) Any drive plate with the ford clutch pattern will work. Even the one from my 1988 290DP. What is wrong with yours that a wire brush and paint would not cure? They are about $120 from most drive line shops

    400's with Siamese bores will be fine in a boat. However they are externally balanced. So you need the right flywheel for it. If it's stock, the drive will survive. Make sure it does not have any go-fast parts. It needs a truck cam or boat cam
