    There should be an adapter on the intake that can be removed to bolt on a 4-barrel. There are only 2 gaskets needed to go through a Holley 2300 2-barrel. Most of the crud will have blocked the metering plate passages. If you do a whole teardown there are only about 6 parts on the carb

    FYI, something like that isn't rated to lift people. When lifting people, the proof test is 220% rated load. The proof test in the literature is only 125% What reach are you looking for? What height do you need to achieve? What list angle will you be operating at?

    Harbor freight to buy Local equipment rental to rent (I think United Rental is still on Market St). I have even bought an A-frame gantry and hoist on Craigslist, use it for a week and sold it for same amount. (Net $0)

    New Johnson F5B-9 pumps are cheap if you look (under $150). Easy to rebuild too. (However the kit is 40-50% a new pump)
