    My guess.....88/89 were old rating system of flywheel rating. 90+ was new rating system for prop rating

    Pressure test the cooling water jacket. If it doesn't hold 15psi, you have a cracked block or heads

    the pinion is toast, the dog clutch is toast. with that much metal running around in the gear case, assume the bearings are toast.
