    Put lots of oil through this motor now.----If water got on the bearings there will be damage done.

    If water sat INSIDE the engine it may have damaged the bearings on the crankshaft.----Get this motor running ASAP and hope for the best.

    Little steps here.----So spark jumps the gap on a sparkplug.-----But you need to test the maximum output of the system.----So does spark jump a gap of 5/16" ( 8 mm ) or more , yes or no ?

    ??--Leaks both ways.-----The water jacket is full of water when engine is running.----Air leaks out.-----When engine is stopped water will leak into the cylinder for a few seconds.-----Do not delay , get this engine running ASAP !

    The electric primer should still be in service as before.----The electric primer is a valve and does the same thing as you spraying a shot of starter fluid in there.----If you bypassed the electric primer you will know what to do with it.

    The head gasket was blown as suspected.----Get this motor running ASAP as water inside a motor is bad.----The head is warped.----They all are.----So get it flat before installing a new gasket.

    The cylinders are different internally.----Perhaps look at the pivot points on the motor.----Something might be binding up.------Failing that you might need to find repair kits.

    Question for you.----Are the 2 cylinders the same ?-----One is called a TRIM cylinder and one is called a TILT cylinder.

    Timing does not normally go out of adjustment.-----But check for a sheared flywheel key !----And check for a cylinder sleeve rotated out of position.----You did remove high speed jet ( orifice plug ) from carburetor bowl to clean it ?----Nozzle gaskets in place in carburetors ?
