if you moore your boat, you may want to add a barrier coat and a bottom coat.
you can take care of it when you do the transom, stringers, deck and foam.
take a large section of 1/4' plywood and trace the transom shape from your boat and cut it out to make a template.
then take the template to the new boat.
only if you need to level your couch or if you need knee pads.

Can plug should never be in a threaded hole unless it's the only thing you find and your boat is sinking as you are 100 miles off shore
Get the correct plug
May be a typo in the cross-reference. But the BPR6EFS is for vortex heads on an SBC. It's equivalent to the Delco AC-MR43LTS.
Looks like the Ford x-ref is a BPR6FS (no E)
