    I buy used props for $35 each and have General Propeller fix them for $100 and come out ahead of buying new $600/set props because I would go broke buying new VP props..... Much less spending 3-5 BOAT units on a single prop that will still get shredded on sunken boats and oyster shoals

    that is how the throttle works on most outboards. because reving the motor in neutral is a good way to destroy it.
