    The factory solenoids rarely fail !!!----Find the safety switch on the motor.----Just 1 white wire goes to it.--Prevents starting if throttle is open too far.-----Clean that switch internally.----And I can't believe you would want to use a non original solenoid.----Check neutral start switch in...

    1996 Evin 15 hp 2 cy. Bogs down "ONLY" in the forward position.

    Switch the 2 orange ( striped ) wires and post results of spark test.-----Orange / blue stripe is for top cylinder.

    Put some fuel into each sparkplug hole.----Put plugs in and crank it over.----It should at least bark and roar for a bit.

    Back off the throttle and see if it cranks over.-----Sorry I can not see your motor or control box.-----There is also a start in neutral switch in the control.-----Perhaps adjust the switch ( white wire ) on your motor linkages.----Or that simple switch can be cleaned.

    18-7046 is the correct kit !-----You may not be aware that these carburetors year after year use the same kit.

    Is the throttle plate adjusted to open at the correct time.----Throttle pate must be closed to idle properly.------If throttle plate opens too early the motor will stall most times.

    Quality " factory " parts would last 20 years or more.-----Run fuel out of carburetors when done boating.-----Empty carburetors do not gum up!

    Ruptured diaphragm in fuel pump ?-----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" or more on each plug lead ?-----Sounds like it is running on 2 of 3 cylinders.

    What motor.----Model # is ?-----If you have a push to start button you would not need that function on the ignition switch !
