    Cheap and reliable is bore it and rebuild what you have. Less cost and no need to reprogram the ECM. Boring will give a very slight power increase but that's about it. Trying to build power using your 305 would be better to leave it as-is and go boating

    I would be worried if the hull was solid. Most hulls that old could need some major hull work. The comment of " no gas and believes it runs" would mean it hasn't moved in a long time Sure hope its better then I'm thinking

    I don't dive much anymore because there's no point to do it in fresh water lake unless something is lost. Have several tanks but they just sit.

    Another note on injectors, the motor is TBI and may not be able to flow enough for a 383, would need to be tested

    Wonder if they have it setup that way so it can be built cheaper :unsure: or may be an inverter/charger combo maybe Does it have a galvanic isolator installed? This is one I have which shows a combo unit which should do a pass thru when inverter isn't needed

    The 5.0 isn't muck better the a V6 and with a 23 footer I would want at least a 5.7 My 23.5 footer has a 7.4 with dry weight of 4800 lb

    Do the fridges have a AC and DC breakers? Have seen some installed that only run on DC but still have a breaker Oh and I have an additional shore power breaker next to the shore power connection

    Yes, its a MEFI 3. Looking at ODB Diagnostics your 3858887 would probably use 3858888 for the 5.7 but do check with Bob I see he retunes for $400

    The number off yours should match the other. Then there is the issue if it actually works. Make a call to OBD Diagnostics and ask what Bob can do. Could be the reprogramming will cost less

    Thanks for the S/N Looking up the motor I'm unable to find the ECM numbver/type. Thinking its a MEFI-3 and if so it can be reprogrammed. Its an easy swap from 5.0 to 5.7
