    OK my bad, old Alpha The steering ram is where the issue is. There is a valve inside which moves when the the cable push/pulls it.

    Spec 4400 to 4800 If your looking for top end, put the 3-blade 19, it should get some more mph and get the rpm closer to 4800

    Should not matter if the pump is full or empty of fluid with the motor OFF. The steering should be easy enough either way Is the flats on the ram straight up and down as in the pic (Fig d)?

    The bubble shouldn't be the issue with running. Only if there were a lot of bubbles it would effect running. I couple small bubbles every once in a while I wouldn't think much of. More then that, might be the pump diaphragm, hose fitting or hose clamp

    Scanners cab be bought but there not cheap. Its either Techmate Pro or Diacom software all by Rinda https://www.rinda.com/marine/marinemenu.htm Don't think a tune up will fix the current issue, but wouldn't hurt Can check fuel pressure easy enough by renting a gauge from the local auro parts...

    With cylinder 1 staying at 180, I would guess the head gasket blew or there is a crack
