If you over-torqued them, did you damage the block threads or the bolts?
Bolt torque is listed as 65 ft-lb for an SBC. The extra 10 lb-ft should not be an issue, however not guaranteed.
I would beg to differ. Remove a thermostat and see how badly a system cools. Thermal transfer requires a specific time for water to pick up heat. That time is controlled by velocity.
There should be 5 manuals. One for base engine, one for the drive, one for the EVC which is what you need for the trim system reset, etc, one for the fuel system (efi) and one for controls
