    I don't see them as being disabled (OFF-not active), they are just not reading a fault (ON-active). The MEFI is either OFF or ON and does it that way. The fault can be disabled by turning the flag OFF using SW like MEFIburn (I have the SW)

    If the riser gaskets are leaking you would be able to see a path on the gasket where its not sealing. As Lou said may also see rust I'm seeing more weight is probably the issue. Kids growing up, and could also be the boat is soaking up some water along with the chop. Happen to see water on...

    Don't see your issue has anything to do with water in the cylinders. If it ever hydrolocked (running) it would be rebuild time What motor is it? GL, Gi, other, serial number would be great

    If all the water is out, AF can be sucked in. The issue is the pumps don't suck very much at all, so there is a possiablility the impeller could be damaged doing it. Could use a pump, like maybe sump pump

    Do not raise the motor at ALL without removing the drive It may be ok to raise the motor that high without loosening the rear mounts, its not a bad idea to do so just because. Will not hurt, but may help

    There is no issue with just leaving it as-is. Replacing with a tube will have to more effect then the way it is now
