VP DPS-A- running two different pitch propellers?

While not ideal, I have run a mix of B5/B6 props with the small block and B7/B8 props with the big block. Usually when one of the props runs into an immovable object like earth or a sunken boat. I would run the F4's or the I series (4-blade rear)

Quantity of Power Steering Fluid needed 2001 Merc 5.7 EFI

its not published. work on enough things in life and you build up a bit of knowledge as @Lou C states, check for leaks. it is faster to pull the drive and motor to fix the actuator leak than doing it with the motor in place.

    Help with transom.

I would grind off the wood you havent ground off yet, apply a layer of CSM and 1708 with poly, then butter up the new transom wood and clamp in place. when cured, bevel the cracks on the outside, and build up with a few layers of 1708, then grind/fair straight and re-gelcoat

Any dealer can get you engine hours from the ECM if the engine is fuel injected Why are you worried about 800 hours? A 20 year old boat should have between 1000 and 2000 hours A well maintained motor will go beyond 5000 hours I would be more worried if a 20 year old boat has less than 400...
