Yes, Bondo has it, you need the check balls back in and a thermostat You could do an upgrade but this would need to change some parts

Remove the canister fuel filter and see if its full, then pour contents into a baggie and see if there is something other then clean gas If its not full, remove the antisiphion valve on the fuel tank. The rubber fuel line which goes to the filter is attached. The valve has a spring and ball...

boat stalling shifting out of neutral

Need to get some fuel pressure readings. Also try the paper clip and LED to see if there are any codes, doubt there are but need to check. Go to radio shack or other online and get a 12V resistor LED. They get a paper clip. Install the paper clip and LED in the DLC connector, and turn...

    Trim problem

Thanks, being a 1994 it should be a Alpha 1 Gen 2. Here is a link to the entire drive http://www.mercruiserparts.com/alpha-one-gen-ii-1991-1995-0d469859 The trim cylinder rod end cap is on the end and then a anode can be attach to it. If the anode is loose, this is not much of an issue...

    Volvo Penta 7.4Gi sputtering

Sounds like its not getting enough fuel. I would check fuel pump pressure. You have two pumps and low and a high pressure. The low pressure keeps the tank full and the high pressure supplies to injectors Low pressure above the fuel filter High pressure inside a tank...

    2005 Q4 with Merc 4.3 wiring problems

There isn't a wiring diagram for a boat internal wiring, You either have something miss wired or something is shorting to another connection. Just need to follow the wiring. This is a basic arrangement and in most cases this is how it should be done but not necessarily how it was done

    Mercruiser 6.2 mpi ignition trouble

There is an incorrect statement here, or you don't have power coming into the breaker. The starter has a 90 amp fuse which can feed the breaker

    Boat won’t start

Probably not the starter, my first guess is corroded cables. Remove the battery cables on both ends including where it attaches to the block and the starter. Clean them up real good to nice shinny metal. If the click is coming from down by the starter then the cable cleaning should fix it...

2008 8.1 running on four cylinders

With it being 2,3,5,6 I cannot see an individual splice in either the coil or injector harness Suggest using the below wiring diagrams and match up and also ring out the connections. Being a 2008 the wiring below my not be exact as yours. If this is the case then note the wire differences...

    Bravo 1 water pressure issues

Never found any difference in info on shaft size so I'm pretty sure its the same size. It has been found that some have installed the wrong impeller. The distribution valve is basically a ball with 3 openings (Tee fitting), and the smaller Tee fitting above will reduce the size opening to...

2007 4 Tec and NGK plug changes

They are not removable, and all the ones you can remove you can see the end of the screw. Did find something interesting and while I didn't check at the time it could be this was an iboats mistake. Looked up the plug again and it shows UPC 872951433912 which is stck 4339. Called iboats a few...

    Bravo 1 water pressure issues

I'm am assuming you have open cooling and not closed (uses antifreeze). With the low pressure and new impellers, I would be thinking there is not enough restriction going out, or there is something causing a restriction coming in. In the picks attached is the new style thermostat housing which...
