    No, it's a decrease in supply. I haven't waited in any lines or seen anybody sold out, have you? And part of the shortage is absolutely due to Russia.

    Check your compression as well, and make sure you're not dropping a cylinder. A 4.3 can run pretty smooth on 5 cylinders

    Not sure what the "spark gap test" is. The next step where you rapidly ground the green/white wire bypasses the ignition sensor.

    ^this. The insurance company will care much more about settling injury claims; even conservative bills, lost work, pain and suffering can easily exceed your boat's value. That's going to be your best leverage.

    Usually a voltage divider type sender should be around 10k ohms. I've not measured one on a MerCruiser though. (Maybe something I should do)... Was going to suggest that... You also have another sender on the other side, no?

    🤷 It was a pretty big arrow. All good. Did go through the chart already. No spark on coil lead. Not sure I am doing it correctly. Waiting on a spark gap tester. Been using an old plug An old plug will work fine.

    1. Just that it moves smoothly. I wouldn't replace it until I had a shifting problem or obvious water ingress. 2. Yes. Check alignment as well 3. Check your timing and set your idle mixture as well
