The plugs that I picked up for my 92 130 Yamaha are BR9HS-10. The Local store did not have B9HS-10, that is what the book and on the engine calls for. I guess The R stands for resistor. Is that a problem if I run it with those plugs? Thanks

When I tow my 4000 lb boat down the highway in 3 instead of overdrive, I notice that the rpm's are 4000 and the engine sounds like it is working hard. Is the rpm range to high to tow for a three hour period on the highway at 4000.
Are these heads interchangeable since there are no numbers on them like other OMC heads?. I can not tell if one is designed for the right bank or left. They are exact.

I was flushing my engine yesterday in the rain and was shocked when I choked the engine. All of the rubber has deteriorated from the choke switch. I was hitting the metal toggle and zap, my hands were wet. Is it because I am down to the metal with no insulator.? Thanks
