    Do boyessen reeds last?

    A fellow told me yesterday that if I put boyessen reeds in my engine that not to expect it to last a season. Is there any truth in this? I know it helps with smothness and rpm but what about the reeds not wearing down.

    Pumpdriveshaft for yamaha 90 oil pump

    disconnect oil injection on 98 90 yamaha

    What needs to be done to disconnect the oil injection system on a yamaha 90 hp. I will premix just like i have done on all omc engines. I see the electical connections that need to be disconnected. What on the pump or block needs to be plugged or removed. Thanks.

    my shift rod on my 95 150 60 degree intruder is off about 1/4 inch

    I picked up a used lower unit and everything is good except my shop manual says pinion height should be 21 1/4 inches when in neutral.     putting o rings on 150 hp evin heads

    I am putting orings on a 150 1995 60 degree evinrude. I have coated the orings with triple guard grease. Is there anything else that needs to be done before the heads go back on. It look like there was some rubber residue on the head. Thanks
