    I have a 1996 Johnson 150 , I purchased a 1991 Evinrude xp 150 that runs great. the linkage is the same, I know ill need a cord adapter, my question is, will this power head bolt to my mid section? are the driveshaft splines the same?

    What happens if the pistons were not in the same cylinder? should I have bought new pistons? I know the rods are offset for clearance, on the crankshaft. I've had the motor running wot. its fine, it's the hard starting and running on 2 cylinders at idle.

    I'm running mixed fuel. the vro pump was removed, i may have the fuel lines from the vro mixed up. pumping the bulb doesn't help, and i removed the fuel rail on one side, fuel pump is working., is there a way to by pass the exiting fuel pump and vapor separator? i found the product online...

    Thanks for you response, I'm going to run an electric fuel pump next week, If it helps, ill replace the fuel pump, one question, were does the fuel pump gets it vacuum from? can it be checked with a vacuum gauge?

    I pulled each plug wire, one at a time, cylinders #1,4,5, and 6 are dead. its barley running on #2 and #3.. When i check the spark on the dead cylinders, the plugs are firing to ground, with a spark about 3/4 inch and blue in color.
