With Don's help we figured out the rack is on the bottom of the steering gear and not the top. I am going out to the garage to switch it around now.

Just got home from the lake. She runs like a top, excellent wholeshot and great throttle resonse. The 'ol 140 still has some git up and go left. It was pretty windy this afternoon and the lake was rough, the boat handled rough water easily. I had a big smile on my face the whole way up and down the lake.

Sounds great. The rack being mounted upside down is a very common scenario
