Ok everybody I'm back after the last 8 weeks of night shift and extended hours. I'm starting to prep the outside for paint now. Will post pics soon.

I ended up using a valspar alkyl enamel with your rolling technique you have me for the tractor paint. It turned out really well so far. I'm going to put a couple of more coats on this weekend and hopefully get her the rest of the way put together next week. I'm hoping to be in the water in about two weeks

well I am just about done with this adventure. I want to thank everybody for all the helpful advice. I wouldn't have been able to get it all done without it. Here's a few more pics one of which is when I first got the boat all I can say is wow it's not even the same boat and I was able to do it all myself for a lot less money. still got a few odd's and ends to finish up but nothing major. I will post a few more pics of the whole thing when I get it all complete and cleaned up and ready for the water. I painted the motor today it turned out great.
