On the stringers I thought about moving them out as you said Jas. But then got to thinking

facepalm:bad for me to do:facepalm

since my front motor mount is attached to the stringers if I moved them out then it would raise the height of the front motor mount. Now is what I am thinking right? Cause if it is this could raise an issue with motor alignment if it cannot be adjusted down far enough.
Yea I have to check into finding some C channel if it is around here anywhere. I think that would be the way to go to raise the deck on the sides. Not yet sure how much I will need to raise the stringers if I do go belly tank, which I really would like to do. Just depends on what I find and how much I want to pay for one as well.
Yea the ladder idea is one cool one that is for sure and I like it a lot

. It would be great for add structure to the deck and reinforcing it.
Wish I could bring the boat and parts to work on days like this, it is starting out slow and can get really boring really fast. 12 hour shifts with nothing to do makes for a really long day that is for sure.
