ok, been away for a bit...work had me in Lancaster, SC.

Ran into a fellow Iboater too.

got back and did a little more sanding ...getting into the bottom on the one side now.

Honey -doos kept me busy Saturday and most of today too...


Yard work...tree trimming....and a little fun with this bad boy!

Did not know the Admiral was taking these...concentrated on getting things subterranean

Rented this thing around 1:30 yesterday...by 4:00 I had 14 stumps all about 18"+ in diameter done..and the neighbors started pouring in...

Seems three of them had decided to go together and rent the grinder, but cancelled thinking it might rain..good for me...I did 2 stumps fr one guy, 4 for another..did a few smalll ones for the guy across the street and one for the widow down the street. The first 2 ended up giving me half the rental fee for doing theirs....the rest i did for free...worked out for everyone I'd say!

Used one of those a few years back after Hurricane Andrew...actually kind of fun to have all that ferocious power at your fingertips...

Glad to see you back and once the Honee-doos get done, you'll be free to get back on the Ebko...

got one section on the bottom sanded tonight...the side is complete so only 2 sections the off to the otherside I go...

As you can see it is breaking into the fiberglass in places...but it is getting real smooth...

Ya so far that is the plan....or I may decide to give a paint job a go...not really sure at this point...too much sanding yet to do...I will ponder a bit more...

looks like you're pretty well settled now Troop. We move tomorrow, only 3 miles from the current home but holy carp we have a lot of crap! I can't imagine moving as far as you did and have to make it in 1 trip.

Having a great weekend...10 hrs back to Ohio for first time in 7 years as a couple...visiting family and friends...spent today with my dad....

Thanks guys, got back without incident....had a great time...and picked up a grand daughter for the summer to boot!

Really good to hear you were able to see your dad.. 7 years is a long time to wait to go back home..

The shop is so much better to work in than outside.. Big time envy..
