Wow Soulwinner that was a mouthfull and very informative. I believe because ( and this I do assume) Ralph is a Catholic he is offended and feels attacked by any talk or blame being directed at Catholism as a personal attack on him.<br />And Ralph there are more than a few minor differences in what I practice And what Catholics practice. I do not pray to saints, nor do I believe in having to confess my sins to another man( although I do feel it is helpful to do so ) I also believe that a person should not be baptised before they are at an age of accountability and there is no purgotory. All these things and many of the things my church believes in are more for man then for God. I can not write as fluently or with as much learned wisdom as soulwinner but I can say that religion and ritual is mans way of trying to get closer to God but Christianity is God trying to get closer to man (through his son and in our hearts) Reguardless of who we are or what "group" we follow we are all invited to recieve the gift of Grace and salvation.

Through it we minister to those in need and have led several souls to the Lord. We help through love for everyone we meet, helping anyone in need, and spreading the Good News. If you say your a christian and you follow Jesus,then your following the teachings of a VERY SMART JEWISH man who was born in the region we at War with..why? because we dont like there beliefs, and were stronger than them. I could care less about what color Jesus is or what ares he is from. I know he was a Jew. I have all the respect in the world for the Jews and do not feel in any superoir or better to them and to be honest feel ashamed if anybody took my posts as an attack upon there beliefs. Maybe the offending priests should shed a few tears on national television and be rehabilitated as fundamentalist preachers. Worth a try.

As for comparing theives, crooks and men with little morals with child molesters just tells me you must have no children..... big difference there buddy. Im not perfect and when God comands us to love our enemies I have no problems obaying him untill it comes to children being hurt then to be honest and transarent here ...I hate the people who do this,,,, I see the damage it causes every day. It was the apostal Pauls " job" to preach to the Gentiles so we could also be saved.
