I have a 2000 4.s gl with a Volvo Pinta Stern drive and on my first outing since wintization (10 min trip)) I had major water in oil problems. It even looks like I blew a core plug (freeze plug) I had the breather lines coming of of the Port side of the exhaust manafold blowing the water/oil into the carb and the most puzzing thing was the " leak around rubber core plug, water and hot milky water was leaking from a "3/8 blow out plug (?)" around the starter, on the star board side of the engine block just aft of the drain plug. I an guessing a exhaust gasket has blown on the port side and filled up the oil pan with water. Is it possible the pressure built up in the oil pan and blew out freeze/core plug. Am I correct a gasket caused this and Is it possible to repair the plug with out taking engine out. Of course I will need to take if the exhaust manifold could there be other problems?
