Yesterday I spent 2 hours by cutting the lip from the cabin and front seat bases. I also cut the bilge pump's plate out and took out the old pvc drain pipe. There were water underneath both them so Im happy I opened them.

I think Im done with grinding in 2-3 hours. Then its time for pics!

I cant disagree. Im so happy that the project turns over: building new instead of demo.

I kind of liked the demo part itself. Only the grinding was annoying from time to time. I could do it again though :D

Never liked the grinding part, going back together is what I like to see. Demo seems to always add more than I suspected that was wrong. Riding in the finished product is the absolute best.

I must be one sick puppy then....I find the grinding somewhat relaxing. Kind of like my happy space. I don't know, to each their own.......🙄 Lol.

Have you ever done a grinding session then layed back in the dust and kind of fell asleep  :sleeping::sleeping:

I have, it is kind of relaxing.:sleeping::sleeping: Face mask on and everything.:painkiller:

Or was it because I wasn't getting enough air supply  :sleeping:

It was pretty close today. I spent 3 hours more for grinding and I still have the rear section left. The cabin took a lot more time than I planned. Well anyways, only the transom and its DONE! Pics coming then, now theres nothing to see except dust...

I got one -68 small fishing boat with old petrol engine. Its just great, love it (see the video). It still needs some attention inside and Im gonna build a cover for that engine.

It runs now with JETA1 + gasoline mixture, because they dont sell the good old motor petrol anymore. Jeta is not sulphur treated so the exhaust gas smells a bit funny! Motor works ok with full gasoline too, but it has some disadvantages then. It is started by rotating the flywheel by hand (with a special hand crank thingy). :D

Ok so here are some pics guys! I vacuumed the boat once. I still have minor grinding left near the drain pipe section (flattening those rough spots). 15 hours of grinding behind!
