Re: For Ralph and Ryan T

RyanT, I will accept you apology this time.
As for knowing anything about baseball, I assure you I do.

Growing up around the Big Red Machine and watching people like Pete Rose and Johnny Bench play ball, I gathered a little interest in baseball. 'nuff said.

As far as my BOMBS go, thats all in fun and if you have no sense of humor, then I'm sorry.

I try my hardest to keep my cool on here and admit I may push real close to the line sometimes, but it is all in fun and not meant to hurt anyone's feelings for sure.

So, I will wave the truce flag and let's get on with the world series and let the better team win.

GO RED WINGS

It ain't over until the fat man gets thrown to the ground by the Dominican punk...

Sorry I couldn't resist.

Well it's cold, dark, windy and rainy here today. Perfect weather for sulking over another missed chance to win it all :D

Man I'd like to see a game 7 at least!

Yankees V Marlins? Where's the greatness in that?

I agree Ralph......not much of a matchup. I was actually looking forward to seeing the Cubs get their butts whooped by the Yanks.

Yanks in 5.

:p

It would be so wonderful for Red Sox fans everywhere if they put up a 10 spot in the first inning off Clemens. His last mound appearance ever, leaving in disgrace, Yankee fans booing him, throwing batteries at him and the Sox celebrating on his field. REVENGE WOULD BE OURS!

GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonights game between Boston and NY is the biggest sox/yankee game in our lifetime. The last huge game was in 1978, the one game play-off to go to the ALCS. You couldn't ask for a better scenario, a game 7 between the most storied rivals in baseball to go to the World Series. I'm nervous already!

For all intents and purposes, tonight is the World Series. 2 of the greatest Red Sox pitchers ever going at each other. 9 Cy Young's on the mound. This game, no matter what happens, is historic.

Gauge, if you get FM 96.9 put it on - you have to hear Barnical and Shaunessy.

Imagine the Chicago Sun Times put the name, address and place of work of that Cub's fan that went for the ball in the paper! They kid is going to have to move or he risks being killed. What an outrage!

Ralph, unfortunately I am not in the car right now. I have lousy radio reception in my office. What are Mike and Dan saying?
