Re: Holy crap I just bought a boat!
Update:
I should have "Whisky Ding" (good name, I think) fully sea worthy tomorrow. Total investment so far is under 1K, parts, batteries, title, labor, everything, total investment to make this thing look and function great will be under 2k easily. Polishing is going well, the 10% of the boat that has been polished is looking pretty good (not great, but good). Lots and lots of polishing along with some new pin-striping will go a looooong way in bringing this thing back to its former glory.
I think I got the electrical issue figured out... by the looks of it the battery charger that was in place was taken out and the negative lead cut. I got a new charger and as soon as my EE shows up I'm sure we can get all the accessories working again. The head is disgusting, someone decided to use it without being able to flush it, so I got that S to deal with (literally). Lots to do, not enough hours in the day, but by next summer I should have a great looking boat tearing up the water garnering envy from the masses who's down payment was more than my total investment

Damn this is fun!
