Was a perfect weekend I was there met some and missed a few of you. I did go hang out on the island for alittle while Saturday and got to meet Q.C. I think even AK Chappy did a fly by Saturday it was great.

Yes, weather was great. Even the Friday overcast thing. Saturday may have been the best overall weather I have ever had there. Very comfortable, lots of sun.<br /><br />I left my boat there, so I may go as soon as two weeks . . . I'll let you know.

The Lake itself was pretty mellow. The Channel was packed, but that's OK for a cruise through as you know . . .

Hi everybody. The lake was really awesome, it was my first time being to the lake. Launching the boat wasn't as bad as I thought. I think I had the oldest boat out there, but I am thankful that my boat didn't break down and got me stranded in the middle of the lake, that was my worst fear. I am up for another meet later in April if anybody is interested. <br /><br />-Quinn

Could be a big help <br /><br />Did you make it to the Sandbar? JohnRuff and Mrs. Ruff did . . . I stayed on the south side of the lake the whole weekend.

I don't think the leak was too bad. The boat seem to be taking more water in when it is still, but still have no clue where it is coming from. I didn't make it to the sandbar, I just cruise the lake for a couple of hours and then started heading back to California. I can't wait until I go back out.. <br /><br />-Quinn

Mine was an 84 Sea Ray <br /><br />I am still fighting the setup of my Lorance LCX-15MT and will call the company today. I have a couple pictures to get up here later.<br /><br />Was really nice meeting everyone. The hotel did end up giving us the package price <br /><br />We took our boat upriver to Topoc and had lunch there. It was an amazing ride!<br /><br />I mounted my video camera onto a tripod and drove through the channel under the London Bridge. After I edit it - I will post a link for you all.

Cool John, hope to see the video. I felt a little rotten telling Quinn not to head up there, but that is a long and somewhat treacherous ride if you are a newbie . . . especially without an anchor!!<br /><br />Did you buy one yet Quinn? I am gonna keep bugging you . . . actually you need two

ST, sorry did not get to meet up with you or the others. But we were fishing and catching so for me it is really hard to stop and leave a spot. Not to many big ones so we just keep some for one good dinner. The C-17 photo I was checking the camera to make sure the batteries were good and my wife is going O WOW O WOW Look Look and I am looking on the water going WHAT WHAT then I look up and I am going O,O,O LOOK O WOW then I remember I have camera in hand and take the photo.

Cool shot there too MRS. I think we talked about it, and I could shoot myself for not getting a pic, but the boys caught a nice big catfish on the Island Friday night, probably 3 lbs. I cleaned it and we cooked it whole immediately. Honkin' thing tried to jump off the grill with one whole side already crispy I liberally coated it with seasoning salt and nothing else. Was pretty tasty . . .

MRS,<br />Good shot at the Striper too! I can understand-from fisherman's point of view-anything that could get your attention off the rod-tip and the water could be annoying....Next time you're going Striper fishing again, let me know...

nice catch MRS...<br /><br />We plan on bringing the poles next weekend. We is the good fishing there? My 9 yr old still has never caught a fish and would love for him to get one.
