one burger like that in the picture would be 8-10 bux in canada....easy.

we have a fat daddys here........average price is 10 bux a burger with fries at about 4 bux

to get a burger like that out of a chain resturant....(non fast food) would be around 18 bux

If you want to go a little crazy and take a few days off the old ticker..
I created this at home a while ago.
A Chili Bog Burger!!!
Chili Cheese Burger on the bottom, hot dog and relish on top..
The flavors transitioned from burger to dog very nicely!!!

A tribute to excess.....

Now all you need to do is smother it in potato chips, garnish it with a 1/2 lb of thick sliced hickory smoked bacon, and wash it all down with no less than at least 24 ounces of your favorite brew in a tall frosty glass... :D

The Waldgeist Restaurant in Hofheim Germany is my favorite. A burger and two litres of beer.

That's what In-N-Out charges for a Double-Double, fries and a Coke :D (Sorry oops!)

Now I'm getting hungry.... In-N-Out is only 5 minutes away...

I think it's kind of funny all these great burgers are what we used to get everywhere before McD's and all these other fast food joints took over the burger market. In Calgary 2 weeks ago a five guys double cheese with small fries and a small coke cost me just under $14.

I've never really understood the issue here. I do it all the time (and have caught grief). Once a person switches to diet soda, they pretty much stick with it across the board. I no longer like the taste of regular soda at all. Much too sweet. Plus a greasy burger is one thing, a giant cup of pure sugar is quite another. (I ordered three slices of pizza once and a diet coke and caught hell for that :p)

I second all of that EZ....

Why add insult to injury (grease + loads of sugar)?
Although I do occasionally like a real coke once in a while, I prefer diet coke for both the taste, and the fact that I don't feel like complete garbage from all the liquid sugar I drank.

No In n Out in Midwest (or MN that I know of) but have aten when I lived in Cali. 5guys is recently new to our area but is also comparable to FiveGuys. I would say I like the 5guys fries better.

Although when I head to work I go to "The American Burger Bar" in lowertown Saint Paul, they have phenomenal jalepeno bison burgers (and beer). Yeah its $11 for a burger, but its worth it.

5 Guys is a greasebomb, up here we have Culvers which may not be the same category of burger joint, I dunno. But they have the lightly butterred bun that gives butter burgers that distinct taste that keeps you coming back for more.

All of the above should only be consumed once a quarter, not once a month to avoid diabetes.
