Still waiting for SBL to comment...........

I miss SBL's stories ! He must spend all his time now trying to do his school work.

The word I always see it "Trailor."

nt 2 shure eye bi into tht 1...

Hahahah I got both of ya. I just love that word. Most people don't even recognize that its a dig at their poor grammer! I used to have a boss and that one word was his pet pieve. I used to say irregardless just to see his face get red.....LOL. (didn't like him much)

Just look at the original context. It was a sentance that was unneeded.

PS - more for you to find if you can.

(PPS - just winterized 2 of the boats tonite and had too many beers in the process - must be feeling jovial tonite I guess)

Referring to a V hull as a V haul is one I see a lot. I find it more entertaining then bothersome though. I don't think a misspelled word here or there is anything to get pinched about, unless its in a professional correspondence.

Now we fought our way out of the caves and grunting to communicate our feelings to our fellow troglodytes, let's not go subtracting words like irregardless from the dictionary. As a double negative its meaning is almost too convoluted to follow.

He's knew cut the guy a brake.

If they're new, there's a chance to change their ways before it's too late.

(Wow, they're, there, and their, all in one sentence, and used correctly! I'm proud of myself. :D )

Doubt that.

One of the last post he made, he was saying how he's become an "assistant" to the local harbor master.
He's probably driven the poor guy to drink with stories from one of the 4 times his boat actually ran, and second hand stories of his genius neighbor's boating epiphanies. :D

I can't believe noone said Chaparral yet. (Commonly misspelled as Chapparal, or Chaparrel) I realize most people that don't own (or haven't owned) one don't know how it's spelled. But my favorite is when they have a photo of the boat in their ad, with the name on the side of the boat, and they still spell it wrong!

Too true! I own one and I still have to think about the spelling everytime I write it out. Guess that's why so many owners call them Chaps or Chappies.

BUT MY BIGGEST BEEF IS NOT SO MUCH SPELLING ERRORS, BUT THOSE THAT FEEL THEY NEED TO SHOUT THROUGHOUT THE ADS - GIVES ME A HEADACHE JUST READING THEM, I CAN JUST IMAGINE WHAT THE PHONE CONVERSATION WOULD BE LIKE.

That one occurred to me right away, too. I've seen more ways of spelling 'Chaparral' than I could ever have thought up on my own. That's why I bought a Four Winds.
