Im changing motor for a 90 160 to a 96 200.
I had to add a 5" life kit for the 25 inch shaft, the pictures im post sh I w the measurements. Its off by 3/8 , will the bolts have enough play to compensate for it?

somebody Knows. me I would seal existing holes with silicone or epoxy and drill new holes where they are needed.

⅜" aint a lot ,can you post a pic of the bracket ....so we can see if there is enough " meat" there to slightly elongating the holes in that by ³/¹⁶ each. Im just thinking it might be easier than all the drilling and re-sealing of the transom .🙂

I’m with Crosbyman. I’d fill the old holes with an epoxy filler and start fresh to help keep any water out of a sloppy hole.
